The spice of the Indian flavours works so well with the sweet and smoky BBQ flavours. The staff are genuinely so friendly and so attentive. You could just see they want you to have the best time as well. All that and the prices are so reasonable too. I honestly can't recommend this place enough. The one thing we wanted in Salisbury was a good smoke house and now it looks like we have it! We're already looking forward to coming back!

The sauce is amazing and I will be coming back for more. This is a family restaurant run by a family. Very welcoming and friendly, making every effort to come out of the kitchen and speak to all the guests. This place is a one of a kind and really works. Treat yourself and head down to enjoy something you have definitely not had before. Book ahead if you want brisket, this is a real smoke house and they run out.

A Must-Visit in Salisbury – Bold Flavours & Warm Hospitality. I had a solo dinner at TXIN while visiting for work, and it ended up being one of the highlights of my trip. This newly opened, family-run spot brings something totally unique to the city (or anywhere in the country), modern American smokehouse food with an Indian twist — and it absolutely works. The food was exceptional. The beef brisket was melt-in-your-mouth tender, the sticky wings packed a perfect balance of heat, sweetness and crunch, and the coriander chutney was the best! added a punchy, herby brightness to the whole meal. I also had the cornbread, which had just the right texture and warmth. Every bite has clearly been made with care. The space is modern and welcoming. What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. I had the chance to meet the family behind TXIN, and they couldn’t have been more friendly or passionate about what they’re building. It felt personal, genuine, and full of heart. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, TXIN is a must-eat. Can’t wait to come back — next time, I’m bringing friends.

Every bite was packed with flavour and creativity. What really made it special, though, was the atmosphere. TXIN is family-run, and you can feel the warmth from the moment you walk in. The owners are incredibly friendly and took the time to chat with us about their new venture – their passion for food is clear and infectious. Salisbury is lucky to have this gem. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to go back!

On our last night on vacation we were initially looking for a traditional Indian restaurant. We found this restaurant and were intrigued by the fusion concept and curious, so we had to try it out! And our expectations were exceeded in way we would never have imagined. The meat is so tender and the smoky taste works really well with the various Indian chutneys, dips and sauces, all different and all very well balanced. But not only the meat was deliciously spiced, but also the Coleslaw and the Masala Chai Tea we had along with it. The place is family run and the staff were all super friendly and attentive. It‘s still a quite new place, so go go go and check it out, you won’t regret it.

Spending a night in Salisbury for work and i wanted to eat somewhere that would let me taste something different. Wow what a party for my mouth. The family run business was obviously created out of a true love of sharing their vision for food and what they enjoy to cook. Husband and wife in the kitchen and i was lucky enough to be served by the kids ( as home from uni). The flavours were immense and my only upset is that i couldn’t try the whole menu, but i hope to come back just to taste more. They very nicely created a plate not full portions that would allow me to taste different parts of the menu.

We went all out and got the TXIN Mega Platter, plus some extras! The food was unbelievable with flavoursome tastes of India. A unique restaurant that is small and cosy with a lovely family vibe. This is down to the owners who are very passionate about the food they cook and the service they provide! They have amazing staff and the service was impeccable. A must go for any Texan BBQ fans! A meat lovers dream! My only disappointment is that I can't give it more that 5 Stars! Looking forward to the next time we go!

The owners are super friendly and down-to-earth. They made us feel welcome right away. You can feel their passion in the food. What really stood out was how they blend two different food worlds, it works so well. It’s not just fusion for the sake of it; the flavours actually complement each other in a way that’s creative but still comforting. Definitely coming back, we’ve already chosen our next two meals. 😊

Our first but much anticipated visit was an absolute pleasure. The hosts were warm and very welcoming with a friendly atmosphere. The food was delicious. I was blown away by the cauliflower wings. The brisket was tender and flavourful. I loved the onion bhaji and the mango kulfi was delicious and homemade. The masala chai hit the spot with the meal ( I am partial to a cup of tea with a rich meal). Can’t wait to go back!

Best restaurant in Salisbury, just what the city needs, beautiful smoked meats, the brisket stole the show, the ribs were a close second, lovely little family run restaurant that deserves top marks, the family came over for a chat at the end of the meal and explained exactly how all the food is lovingly prepared, highly reccomend... will definitely be returning.

Great food - made with love. We had a selection of starters and mains to get a feel for something I was dubious about because it's an unusual combination. Some of the items included the sticky wings, onion bhajis, brisket, pork belly and all the sauces and everything was perfect. The staff gave a really personal touch and I'll defintely be looking to go again!

What a fantastic addition to Salisbury this place is. I had the beef brisket, corn bread, and some mac and cheese, followed up by some a choc brownie for dessert and I can happily say all were fantastic. The brisket was tender and paired incredibly well with the Indian flavours of their special gravy (the combination of Texan BBQ / Indian spices goes together so well here it's crazy that this isn't already a widespread thing). The Mac & Cheese was just the right consistency and absolutely delicious, and the brownie was another highlight, excellent! Everything managed to both be really high restaurant quality, but also give the feeling you were being treated to someone's home cooking, helped further by the warm and welcoming staff. Salisbury is not somewhere I'd expect to see something like this and I'm delighted it's here. Would recommend anyone, I'll certainly be back. P.S. Try the masala chai, it's superb!

Everything was cooked to absolute perfection. You will not be disappointed. The family are brilliant. It feels like you’re sat in their home kitchen. We had the opportunity to see the smokers which wad great fun as well! If you go.. please have the Spare Ribs. Also.. have the Chicken Wings for starters.. the sauce on them is something that you’ve NEVER tasted in your life. Absolutely the best meal we have had out in years. Don’t hesitate booking here for WILL NOT be disappointed.
